Short Answer
To create an API key for testing, go to Settings under "API Keys". Click "Create API Key". Here you can create API keys.
When you create a key, it will only be visible once, so be sure to copy it and store it in a safe place.
Note: If your account is in Sandbox you will only create test API keys. If your account is active all keys will be live.
